Primate Reserve, Philadelphia Zoo�s state- of-the-art primate facility which opened in 1999, replaces the smaller facility which was tragically destroyed by fire. This 100,000 sf exhibit provides indoor and outdoor habitats for primate species including Gorillas, Orangutans, Lemurs, and Spider Monkeys. Gladnick Wright Salameda ltd. participated on the project team, preparing existing utility identification analysis, site/civil design from conceptual development through design documentation, irrigation design for the exhibit, and construction phase revisions and review.

Swarthmore College Science Center Swathmore Borough Delaware County, PA.

Planning, design, and construction phase services for renovation, expansion and unification of science facilities at Swarthmore College. Design focuses on appropriate accommodation of program space, landscape space, and pedestrian and vehicular circulation systems within a constrained and sensitive site. The team project approach addresses the integration of landscape and building space and provides a transition from the designed landscapes of the central campus to the natural landscape of the Crum Woods immediately to the north. Work includes careful coordination of design and engineering to provide cost effective, maintainable, and innovative approaches to environmentally responsible design.
